I am very excited because my ancestors came to the new world in 1730 and my research took me back to Germany 1698 and it ended there, HELP!
I look forward to the conference, my Great Grandfather (George Rehberger) arrived in the USA (New York) in 1882. But having trouble finding the ship & dates of arrival from Rieneck, Bavaria, Germany.
Could use help.
I found a Georg Rehberger on Ancestry arriving aboard the ship Lessing on 18 May 1882. See https://tinyurl.com/dn42fven
Thanks, I will look at the web site you provided
Ken Rehberger
My fifth Great Grandfather came to the colonies about 1727- Christian Bake. His father Balthasar Bake is found in or near Berlin where I have located a birth record for Christian. New to this search so any suggestions helpful.
My great grandmother Martha Bublitz came from Prussia. Her father had married twice. She had an older brother from the first marriage. Hitting so many brick walls in Pomerania.
What village in Pommerania ?
